Sanctuary of the Egyptian Gods, Delos

During the last four months, the CARARE Project has held the first Dissemination Workshop (at CAA, University of Southampton in the UK), hosted an international Workshop on the beautiful Greek island of Mykonos and been involved in intense discussions with the Europeana Ingestion team on the changes and adaptations required to be able to successfully upload the CARARE metadata into Europeana. The KUAS team are also busy with the planning and organisation of the final CARARE Policy Conference in Copenhagen in November for which there are several confirmed speakers making up an exciting programme for this two day event. In addition to providing metadata for ingestion into Europeana, the content providers are also organising a series of national dissemination workshops with the aim of spreading the word about Europeana to fellow cultural heritage institutions who hold digital content and showing them how CARARE can help them prepare and transfer the relevant information.
