The general objective of the PITCHER project, funded within the Erasmus+ Programme, is to improve educators’ capacity in preparing new learning experiences to support the fight against looting and illicit trafficking of cultural goods.
This will be done by empowering schools with tools to help their students acquire the critical thinking skills necessary to play an effective role in tackling this problem; creating educational materials based on STEAM education; using the educational potential present in European digital heritage collections to help teachers develop new lessons and workshops. The educational resources developed by the project will be available in September on the project website, ready to be tested by partner schools and other interested institutions.
